Kraatteri Resort is located in Lappajärvi, on the shores of Europe's largest meteor crater lake. Our accommodation units are found in the peaceful Nykälänniemi area, right next to the lake and the golf course

Lappajärvi is located in South Ostrobothnia, approximately:
- 80 km from Seinäjoki
- 90 km from Vaasa

Arriving by Car
A car is the easiest and most common way to reach Kraatteri Resort.
From the south (Helsinki / Jyväskylä)
- Drive along Highway 19 or Highway 16 towards Seinäjoki
- Continue from Seinäjoki towards Lappajärvi (approx. 1–1.5 hrs)
- Follow signs to Nykälänniemi and Kraatteri Resort
From the west (Vaasa)
- Drive along Highway 16 towards Seinäjoki
- Turn towards Lappajärvi
- The journey takes approximately 1.5 hours
From the north (Oulu)
- Drive south along the main highways towards Seinäjoki
- Continue to Lappajärvi following the signs
Arriving at Nykälänniemi
Nykälänniemi is a peaceful, nature-close area on the shores of Lappajärvi. Follow the signs for Kraatteri Resort and/or Järviseudun Golf.
When you arrive in Lappajärvi:
- Follow the signs for Järviseudun Golf / Kraatteri Resort
- A sat nav or map app will guide you all the way
Parking
Free parking is available at all Kraatteri Resort accommodation units.
Electric vehicle charging is available in the Järviseudun Golf car park, located 300 m from the accommodation units.
Easy to Get To, Easy to Enjoy
Kraatteri Resort is nestled in nature and easy to reach. Once you arrive at Nykälänniemi, you're already there. The lake, the scenery, and all services are close at hand.
